The Chicago LockDown and Elite Volleyball are "teaming up" in a basketball/volleyball experience for your players!

Basketball

During the basketball session, players will…

  • Daily focus on a new basketball fundamental
  • Receive quality instruction with fun drill stations
  • Compete in a number of competitive contests based on the daily fundamental focus
  • Participate in LIVE scrimmages with age appropriate competition

Volleyball

During the volleyballl session, players will…

  • Daily focus on a new volleyball fundamental
  • Receive quality instruction with fun drill stations
  • Compete in a number of competitive contests based on the daily fundamental focus
  • Participate in LIVE play with age appropriate competition

CHICAGO LOCKDOWN FOUNDER:  JOE NIEGO
Joe brings a plethora of experience to the basketball court!  As an elite player, coach, and founder of the Chicago LockDown, Joe has been involved with the game of basketball for 40+years!

Joe was inducted into The Lewis University Hall of Fame, 1980 Decade Team, and was an All-Conference/All-American selection.   Joe and his three brothers received national attention when they set a NCAA record; it was the first time in history that brothers captured four of the five starting positions. Charlie, Tom, Joe and Mark also caught the country’s attention when they started the season 14-0, and in one game scoring all Lewis’ points.

After college, Joe was also drafted by the NBA's Houston Rockets.


COACH THERESE BOYLE-NIEGO
Therese Boyle-Niego brings an extensive, high-profile volleyball career as both coach and player.

Boyle-Niego was an All-American and National Champion from the University of Pacific as well as a high school All-American and State Champion at Mother McAuley High School, where she has had her jersey retired. She played and coached in the first-ever women's indoor volleyball league before serving as head coach at Loyola University Chicago. At Loyola, she led the team to its first-ever NCAA Tournament spot. Boyle-Niego also coached at the University of Wisconsin. Therese's oldest daughter, Charley, has recently received a scholarship and has committed to play volleyball at the University of Notre Dame

Therese is married and has six children.
